I’m sure every girl out there has suffered trying to get that last bit of lipstick out from the tube…and lets face it – lugging around 5 shades of lipstick tubes in your handbag/makeup bag …well we can probably do things a little better. Or at least add one small palette to your makeup case 🙂
I have officially packed away my tubes of lipstick and created little pans of them in a palette – this is so much more versatile and easy to carry around especially when doing makeup for clients. It’s also a far cry easier comparing your colours and seeing them all in one nice and easy to use palette.
So ladies – without further ado – here is how you can create your very own customizable makeup palette.
Things you will need:
– flat iron
– pliers or something similar for holding the pans without burning yourself
– Lipsticks! 🙂
– Z palette pans (or similar) – you may need small magnets if you are not using a Z-Palette.
– Z palette (or similar)
– Sharp floral knife (or similar)
Sanitise all your tools and wash hands prior to starting. Cut a piece of the top of your lipstick (probably about a small coin sized) and put this into your pan using your floral knife.
Switch on your flat iron and wait for it to heat up. Then using pliers to hold the small pan (very carefully) place this on the flat iron. Once the lipstick has fully melted immediately take it off the flat iron using the pliers and place on a cool surface.
Do not let the lipstick boil.
Once the lipsticks have cooled and hardened, label each one on the pan and put into your z palette.
And Voila! 🙂 You have your very own custom lip palette 🙂 Hope you enjoyed this post. Please leave any comments, questions or requests below!
