Being the talented and gorgeous Rihanna can’t be easy, but this stunning songstress can do no wrong with the launch of her second makeup collection with MAC – the RiRi Hearts MAC collection. Following the success of her first collaboration with the cosmetics giant, this fall collection is anticipated to be worth the hype and is scheduled for release on the 26th September.
With the teaser pics for this collection, I am definitely looking forward to the release. MAC has swayed from their usual signature black packaging and are marketing this spicy collection with alluring gold and pink packaging. A surefire win. The packaging and the products look amazing. Seriously though, that packaging is eye catching and screams luxury and beauty!
Take a look at the collection here:
The collection is likely to be released on 26th September in stores and online in the United States, and will be released to the international markets on the 3rd October.
The stunning collection features some lush looking makeup brushes, mascara, eyeshadow quads, lipsticks, bronzer, blushes and more and I expect that this quality of this line is going to meet and exceed expectations.
The lipstick colours are:
- Nude Matte (Nude Cream)
- RiRi Woo Retro Matte (Cool Red)
- Who’s That Chick Mid Tone (Frosty Orange)
- Talk that Talk Retro Matte (Dark Plum)
The lipsticks and the lipglass will retail for $16.50 each.
I am also really looking forward to trying out the Lustre Drops in Barbados Girl. This Rose Gold Bronzer is going to be a cult favourite and will retail for $20.00.
The gorgeous eyeshadow quads are set to be a little pricey along with the brushes though, which doesn’t really deviate much from the standard pricing for similar products in the MAC line.
The brushes are very pretty (as is the rest of the collection) and a perfect match. The brushes are the 187SE and the 282SE brushes which will retail for $42.00 and $32.00 respectively.
Both the quads will retail for $44.00. The “Smoked Cocoa” has some intense blacks in it with the “Her Cocoa” quad showcasing some warmer tones.
The powder blush duo in Hibiscus Kiss showcases a lovely coral shade blush and a matte bronzer. This duo will retail for $26.00.
Other additions to this collection include:
- Diamonds Cream Colour Base ($22.00)
- Bad Girl Gone Good Blush ($23.00)
- Lashes ($17.50)
- Gigablack Extended Play Mascara ($17.50)
- Point Black Liquid Last Liner ($21.50)
- Deep Dark Brunette Veluxe Brow Liner ($21.50)
- RiRi Woo Lipglass ($16.50)
- Deep Brunette Veluxe Brow Liner ($21.50)
- RiRi Woo Pro Longwear Lip Pencil ($21.50)
- Talk That Talk Pro Longwear Lip Pencil ($21.50)
I am officially drooling, and I am sure you are too. The only thoughts going through my mind when looking at this to die for collection is “I WANT”. Perhaps another indulgent MAC splurge is on the way.
I am really looking forward to this collection and cannot wait for it to launch in New Zealand.
